KISCOTE SS is low viscosity, silane siloxane system which serve as high-quality general-purpose water repellents. It impregnates deeply into porous substrates to allow for bonded hydrophobic lining to the pores. A non-water- soluble barrier is formed thus reducing absorption of water and waterborne salts of the substrates. The chemical process will also improve surface hardness, resistance to abrasion and chemicals.
