Liquid applied waterproofing membranes are used commonly because of their many advantages. The usage of liquid applied waterproofing membranes would ensure that there are no joints or seams that would be potential weakness in a waterproofing system. These products are also flexible and able to conform to shape, they would be able to encapsule the substrate well. The liquid nature of the product would also allow for remedial waterproofing such as sealing of any potential exposure of concrete to water.
